Doncaster City Council has awarded Civcon a place on its Lot 1 Framework Contract for minor highway construction schemes and associated works.
The framework is part of a £155 million infrastructure improvement programme across Doncaster, divided into five specialised lots. Lot 1 covers the essential day-to-day highway works that keep the city road network functional: carriageway resurfacing, foundation works, and smaller-scale civil engineering improvements.
Framework contracts of this type are the backbone of how local authorities manage their highways budgets. Being appointed to Doncaster framework places Civcon alongside a shortlist of contractors trusted to deliver consistently and respond quickly when the council needs work done.
David Grayshon, Managing Director: The Doncaster framework is a significant appointment for the business. We are delivering on Yorkshire highways infrastructure and building long-term relationships with the councils that manage it.
