About Our Highways Technology Services
HTS (Highways Technology Specialists) is the highways technology division of Civcon Civil Engineering Ltd and trades as part of that company. It is not a subcontractor and not a joint venture, so technology, street lighting and highways electrical works are delivered alongside our own civils workforce, plant and fleet under a single contract. Our HERS-accredited highways electricians install, commission, verify and certify assets from ITS technology and street lighting through to lit signs, working across the Strategic Road Network and the local authority network from depots in Pontefract, Leeds, Warrington and Wigan.

One Contract for Civils and Highways Electrical
Most schemes split the civils and the electrical package across two contractors, two sets of terms and two insurers. Because HTS trades as Civcon Civil Engineering Ltd, contracts, invoices, insurances, RAMS and programme run through one commercial team.
